Organising Committee of the Summer School Oncology 2026

Student Committee
For each edition of the Summer School of Oncology, a new committee of motivated medical students is formed to organize the program. The student committee plays a key role in shaping the Summer School, contributing fresh ideas and ensuring that the program remains relevant, engaging and well-organized.
The committee is responsible for coordinating the scientific program, inviting speakers, organizing social activities and supporting participants throughout the week. By working closely with the academic staff, the student committee helps maintain the high quality and international character of the Summer School of Oncology!
Below, we proudly introduce the medical students who make up the organizing committee for the 2026 edition.

Nina Jansen – Chair
As the Chairwoman of the Summer School of Oncology, Nina holds overall responsibility for the organization and successful execution of the program. She is the primary point of contact and therefore oversees the student committee and ensures effective collaboration between students, academic staff, speakers and external partners. Throughout the preparation and during the Summer School itself, Nina provides leadership and guidance to the organizing committee, ensuring a well-structured course for all participants.
At 20 years old, Nina is in her third year of medical school. She works as a teamcaptain at Acutelines and in elderly care. Outside her studies, she loves staying active. You’ll often find her hockeying, wakeboarding, sailing, or running. She is very excited to meet you all in June!
